2015 APOGEE DELUXE VINTAGE ROSE IS NOW AVAILABLE
2014 Apogee Deluxe Vintage Rosé has now been replaced by the 2015. This is now the fifth Apogee Rosé to be released. It is, as usual, a single vineyard wine from Apogee Vineyard, with 67% Pinot Noir, 20% Chardonnay and 13% Pinot Meunier. This composition is crafted at the time of vintage to suit the season. The clones of Pinot Noir used are key to the style, apart from, of course, the terroir of the Apogee site. A video will be posted on Youtube soon to provide a visual tasting note. The wine has great depth and, perhaps more than recent releases, it needs time for the oak component to integrate. If drinking early compliment it with a ripe washed-rind cheese from northern France.
