APOGEE Deluxe Vintage Brut 2019
100% Single vineyard. Alc.12.9%
(Chardonnay 63% Pinot Noir 21% Fromenteau (Pinot Gris) 13%
Pinot Meunier 3%)
Andrew's Notes: Pale green gold hue, the bouquet has yeastiness, a delicate balance of preserved lemon from the chardonnay and red currant preserve aroma, complex oyster shell; there is impressive mid-palate fullness followed by a long finish. This vintage has come together well at a young age and will continue to gain complexity. This wine has drunk well when first released but is continuing to gain complexity.
'Light, bright yellow colour; creamy meringue, lemon and almond-meal aromas, a nice trace of toast; the palate is light and refreshing, clean and crisp and dry, with medium length and an appetisingly dry finish. A very appealing glass of sparkling wine, balanced and more-ish.'

APOGEE Deluxe Vintage Rosé 2020
100% Single vineyard. Alc.12.9%
(Pinot Noir 75% (Clones 115,521) Chardonnay 17%, Pinot Meunier 8%)
Andrew's Notes: All APOGEE Rosés are made by the saignée method with colour extracted from gently crushed skins before fermentation. Harvest date 1 April 2020, slightly later than normal, is a result of a cooler and wetter summer than average, which often leads to excellent white wine and sparklings; delicate copper pink, a deep, complex bouquet of raspberry, strawberry preserve with summer flowers, minerals and very delicate but intense palate with lingering berry fruits. Mid-body after the full 2019 with excellent freshness on the finish.

APOGEE Alto Pinot Gris 2022
100% Single vineyard. Alc.13.5%
Andrew's Notes: Rose petal, lychee, pear with barrel-ferment complexity. Beautiful bouquet singing with pear, musk and rose. The acidity on the finish keeps the attention focused. The style is more European than Australian.

Andrew's Notes: An outstanding new vintage has created a wine with a brooding deep nose, toasty oak and raspberry/gamey/ forest floor and some structure on the palate. Rich fruit sweetness on the mid-palate but dry on the finish. 2022-2030. Suitable for Bourgogne-philes
