A HAT TRICK OF 95's
WINE REVIEWS FEBRUARY 2022
APOGEE Single Vineyard Deluxe Vintage Brut 2017
Huon Hooke The Real Review
Medium to light straw-yellow hue, with a smoked-charcuterie overtone at first on top of dry-grass and meadow-hay aromas. The palate is delicate yet intense, very dry on the finish and savoury, mouth-puckering in its tannin and acid-powered dryness, resulting in highly appetising properties. The finish is smooth and lingering, with lovely line and seamless texture. An excellent food-style fizz. 01 FEB 2022

APOGEE Single Vineyard Alto Pinot Noir 2020
Huon Hooke The Real Review
Bright, medium-depth red colour with a good tint of purple. Attractive smoked-charcuterie aromas which shade the fruit somewhat—a slightly dominant barrel influence, while the palate is very bright and juicy with refreshing acidity and lively personality. Attractive fruit starts to emerge on the bouquet after time in the glass. A delicious, vibrant style of light to medium-bodied pinot, a wine of effortless charm. 04 FEB 2022

APOGEE Single Vineyard Alto Pinot Gris 2021
Tyson Stelzer Wine Business Monthly, January – February 2022
“The wonderfully refreshing fragrance and purity of this cool, slow ripening season declares itself. It’s delectably floral, alluringly supple and spine-tinglingly electric all the way through a long and determined finish. Everything Gris should be, charged with an extra dose of cool Tasmanian energy.”
